The Weather
Wasn't going to post anything today, but then I saw this and thought of everyone back in the UK. Ha ha!
Seriously, after the alarums and excursions in the group a couple of weeks ago, everything is back on an even keel, helped by the approaching end of the trip, and also the arrival of another tour group, that has given everyone someone else to talk to and make friend with.
Off to Rio tomorrow for new year. Hope that you all have a cracker.

oh yeah - sandy place with some water and hills - so bleeding what!! and it's only been snowing here so obviously just to my taste!
so you will enjoy rio - go to ipanema beach rather that cocacabana - see the boys playing footchie-volley - amazing! as i said your vocab can consist of tutta bem [pronounced toota bennng] claro [pronounced claru] and nao faz mal [now fash mal]. with these three phrases you can carry on any conversation. marvellous. some nice restaurants round the other side of the lake away from the sea front. am off to have vast quantities of champagne and cocktail in a mo round at tamara and stephen's [my fashionista friends] so not all bad here! so have a fab time on the new year and hold on to all your belongings! big love and enjoy!
